Doppelganger Duel

The party comes upon a lone traveler, Zaltar Surgeborn, walking the narrow trail through the mountains. The party offers their companionship, which he accepts, traveling with them for several hours. He warns them of the dangers of confronting the dragon. The party grows suspicious when his story becomes incongruent. They discover his identity, a doppelganger, and he tries to destroy them. Outnumbered, Zaltar falls and the party continues on their way to Obsidian Hold.
