After a fierce battle, we retreated to the Brown Horse Tavern to lick our wounds and plan our next move. During our long rest, Yaten mysteriously disappeared, leaving us with more questions than answers.

Summoning Familiars

Yami and Larn took the opportunity to summon their trusty familiars, Winnie and Scabbers. It’s always reassuring to have our magical companions by our side.

Morning Plans

Refreshed and ready for action, we discussed our next steps. We examined the plates we found, which turned out to be brass dragon scales worth a tidy sum of 75 gold. Every bit of treasure helps on our journey!

Strategic Debates

Our group engaged in a lively debate about how to deal with Venomfang. We considered setting a trap with an emerald necklace to lure the dragon out. The discussions were intense, but we knew we had to be smart about our approach.

Environmental Changes

As we prepared to move out, we noticed significant changes in the environment. The thicket of brush had become denser and more impenetrable, a clear sign of the dragon’s growing influence.

Consulting the Druid

Yami decided to seek the wisdom of the druid Reardon. She confirmed our suspicions about the dragon’s increasing power and advised us to leave the area. It was a sobering reminder of the dangers we faced.

Journey to Cragmaw Castle

Determined to gather more information, we set our sights on Cragmaw Castle. Along the way, we encountered tracks of humanoid creatures and followed them to the castle. The anticipation of what lay ahead kept us on edge.

Battle at Cragmaw Castle

Upon reaching the castle, we were immediately thrust into combat with goblins and hobgoblins. The battle was fierce, with each of us showcasing our unique skills:

• Zend used Zephyr Strike to swiftly take down goblins.
• Carlos and Sagora broke down doors and engaged enemies with powerful attacks.
• Yami unleashed devastating spells like Toll the Dead and Fireball.
• Larn cast Scorching Ray and Aganazzar’s Scorcher to incinerate foes.

The fight was intense, but we emerged victorious, defeating goblins Snick, Sniff, Jenk, and hobgoblins Cliff, Clop, Crag, and Gunk.

Post-Combat Loot

After the dust settled, we discovered a bloody suit of chainmail, a heavy crossbow, and a longsword with the emblem of Neverwinter. These valuable items would surely aid us in our future endeavors.

Next Steps

With the battle behind us, we discussed our next moves and considered taking a long rest to recover. The journey ahead is uncertain, but we are ready to face whatever challenges come our way.
